Do you work right across the Adelaide Hills?
Yes! The Adelaide Hills are our home patch – we live here, work here, and understand the unique challenges of landscaping in the region, from steep, sloped blocks and rocky terrain to fire-wise planting and local council requirements. We provide full landscape design and construction services right across the Hills, including:
Central & Upper Hills: Stirling, Aldgate, Crafers, Mylor, Heathfield, Bridgewater, Upper Sturt, Ashton, Summertown, and Uraidla.
Mount Barker & Eastern Hills: Mount Barker, Hahndorf, Littlehampton, Nairne, Balhannah, Oakbank, Woodside, and Echunga.
Foothills & Surrounds: Belair, Blackwood, Coromandel Valley, Glen Osmond, and surrounding properties.
Do you also work in Metropolitan Adelaide?
We sure do. While we are Hills-based, our crew regularly travels down the hill to design and construct premium residential landscapes right across metro Adelaide. We frequently service the Eastern Suburbs, Inner South, and Inner North, including:
Eastern Suburbs & Foothills: Toorak Gardens, Burnside, Erindale, Stonyfell, Leabrook, and Beaumont.
Inner South & City Fringe: Mitcham, Unley, Malvern, Springfield, Hawthorn, and Hyde Park.
Inner North & Central: Medindie, Walkerville, Prospect, and Saint Peters.
If your property is located anywhere in greater metropolitan Adelaide, reach out to discuss your project.
How does it work if I want a quote?
Get in touch with a rough idea of what you’re after and we’ll arrange a time to visit the site, talk through options and provide a clear, itemised quote — no obligation.
What's the difference between wet-lay and sand-set paving?
Wet-lay is laid on a concrete slab with pavers bedded in mortar and joints finished with a colour matched tile grout, essentially being a more robust, longer lasting option. It won’t shift, sink or let weeds come through the joints, and handles all the harsh South Australian weather conditions.
It’s one of our specialities and really does provide an unparalleled quality finish. Can you build from plans created by an external designer, or do you handle design in-house?
We do both. If you already have plans from an external landscape architect or designer, we can review them for structural feasibility, select local materials, and execute the build to exact specifications. If you are starting from scratch, we provide complete design and master planning tailored to your site and lifestyle.
How do you handle steep or sloping sites in the Adelaide Hills?
No problem! We can offer tailored retaining solutions that allow you to make the most of your space. Whether it’s a stone wall, a rendered block wall, or a sleeper retaining wall, we’ve got you covered.
Do I need local council approval for my landscaping project?
Council approval depends on the scope of work. Structural elements such as retaining walls above specific heights (typically over 1 metre or near boundaries), shade pavilions, swimming pool fencing, and major site cut/fill usually require development approval. We prepare the necessary engineering documentation and handle the submission process on your behalf.
How long does a typical landscape construction project take?
Timelines depend on site access, engineering complexity, and project scale. A focused courtyard, paving, or pool landscape typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, while an expansive Adelaide Hills estate featuring multi-level masonry, terracing, and deep planting can take 3 to 6 months. We outline a clear schedule before breaking ground.
What happens after the construction process is complete?
Upon completion we will offer you a maintenance guide to ensure your new garden continues to thrive and establish for many many years to come.
